- Abstract
With the same template of rectangular triangular grid with a fixed aspect ratio of silver, a piece of paper can be folded into eight interesting shapes of tetrahedral octuplets of the same size. There are more than 40 such interesting shapes.
By using this fixed template, in addition to folding these forty types of octuplets, more interesting and beautiful shapes can be folded. As a paper lamp with only one template, it can be infinitely variable and freely create lighting fixtures.
The design comes from the author’s new book “Chinese Folding Paper: Magic Rectangle” published this year.
