Francesca Mancini, freelance furniture & products designer, after her graduation in Furniture design and realization and BA Hons in Furniture & Product design from London MET 2010, she set up FMD Design Studio and Workshop in Hackney with Fabrizio Sanita, cabinet maker and restorer.
Each project includes a harmonious combination of functionality, needs and aesthetics. With imagination and fantasy Francesca processes concepts, turning them into objects that give you a unique sensory journey.
Taking inspiration from everyday life and surround environment, Francesca is searching for anything that can improve the quality of human life.
Francesca exhibited in the most important shows in the UK and abroad, and also entered national and international contests, such as: 5th Base Gallery London, CEMBRIT DESIGN COMPETITION Bullhorn, LONDON DESIGN FESTIVAL with NATUZZI and Stephen House Unlocked, JAMES DYSON AWARD - UK finalist, TENT Old Truman Brewery London, ROMA DESIGN + Rome, GRAND DESIGNS LIVE Excel London, Clerkenwell Design Week, NEW DESIGN BRITAN AWARDS Birmingham.
