- Valentina Stecchi is a cartoonist interested in comics, satire, illustration, painting, applied graphics, teaching and education. She studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Verona, worked as a decorator and graphic designer and then dedicated herself to education and illustration. Her cartoons aim to tackle everyday subjects with empathy and sensitivity, paying particular attention to social, gender and human rights issues. She works with the Alto Adige newspaper, the fortnightly magazine Left and Erbacce and with the publishing house People.
